This was controversial at the time and that put alot of people off, but this is a respectful and complex work of fiction around the concepts of the biblical character and his life 4/5

It may not be Scorsese's greatest work, but this guy feeling a little off-colour is still far, far better than most people on fighting-fit form. It only gets more impressive as times goes on. 5/5
