It works, but it could have a bit more information included.4

I normally don't deduct stars from a product just because the packaging is sub-standard, but when it comes to something medicinal, I think manufacturers have the duty to provide as much information as possible. This product has nothing, so I had to get on google and wiki to find out more before I took it. It doesn't even tell you if there is a time of the day which is most effective for taking it.

So, first impressions aside, does it work? Yes, it works. One or two of the other reviewers' have complained it made them feel wretched because they're not eating as much. What on earth did you expect if you just took them and nothing else? These things are meant to be taken as part of a controlled diet regime and not just make you stop eating. There's absolutely no point taking an appetite suppressant if you're not trying to adjust your general eating pattern or actively lose wait. Just cutting out a whole meal from your day is not the right thing to do. If you eat a regular amount of food each day, you really shouldn't be taking anything to suppress your appetite. If you want to lose weight, you need to exercise. If you eat too much and you need to cut down, they go ahead and take these pills. The best time is probably around tea time, as it will stop you eating for the night. But try to adjust your other eating to as normal a pattern as you can. Then you'll find these working, and after time, your body will become accustomed to the lower food intake.

So, yes, these work, but do use common sense if you're going to meddle with your food consumption.

I think it might actually work4
Aye, the packaging is just woeful. Awful. But I think the contents may actually do what it says (grammatically terribly) on the tin...

If you're reading this, chances are you've reached the point where you just want to lose weight and you feel you need help. I think we all reach that point where we suddenly become absolutely desperate to make a change this very second, and finding a tablet that can help feels like we've made a step.

I've been taking these for about 2 weeks now, and I've not had any of the side effects other reviewers seem to have had. No nausea and no other issues... but I've been eating less. I want to expound on that a little, because I don't want to mislead people in any way, especially ones who want to find an answer. I mentioned that feeling of suddenly being depserate to change, and I got that a while back. So I've also been doing more exercise, and my willpower may have kicked in, so perhaps these tablets haven't had anything to do with it, at all.

By the same token, there *has* been a change, and it's genuinely possible that these *have* had a hand in that. If that's the case, they're so worth a go. I've been eating less, but I've also been obsessing about food less... it doesn't occur to me to eat until my tummy starts grumbling now, and that's a real change.

The inclination and desire to snack and munch throughout the day has gone entirely, and when I have my meals, I seem to get fuller a little quicker. Doubtless my stomach has shrunk, so that explains that, but it's absolutely true that once you start losing weight, it seems to come so naturally. When you find your rhythm, you wonder why you ever found it so impossible and agonising.

When things are bad, though, and your food is out of control, you can't fathom how to stop, or how to find some level footing, and I think these may work for that. Combine these with having made the decision to do something and doing a little exercise, and suddenly losing weight isn't an insurmountable behemoth. It's now a process that will take time, but when the changes are so workable, and seem to come so easily, you find you have the patience.

The out of control feeling is horrible, and only people that have issues with food will know it... Hoodia Gordonii definitely isn't a miracle cure, but I really think the feeling of relief that comes with gaining some sense of control over your eating makes having a punt on the tablets very much worth it.

Stomach ache pills!1
I tried taking two tablets as briefly described on the scanty packaging per day and did so for the following ten days, however I started feeling a bit odd and it caused me to have loose stools so I curtailed my dose forthwith. I provided my mother with a week's worth of pills to supplement her WeightWatchers points diet and although she's had slightly mild side effects (loose bowels!) she believes that they do work and wants to take one a day instead of the two, hoping this will reduce the symptoms.

My main gripe with these pills are the cost (£11.89 on Amazon), the completely rubbish packaging and sheer lack of information provided. They look like some cheap supplements you could pick up anywhere and there's no leaflet to accompany them and explain in detail, what they contain, how to deal with any side effects and how long to keep taking them for. Surely in this day and age it's essential that all food supplements and vitamins are seen to be safe, otherwise it opens the manufacturer up for legal problems in the long run?
