Stiff straps
These were the only sandals I could find online in my son's size, so that was the overwhelming reason to choose them. However, they seem quite well made and durable. My son has a high instep, so sandal straps are usually too short and these were no exception. They work OK though if you don't mind the logo being partly out of sight and having a bit of velcro showing. If I have a criticism it's that the straps, especially the toe one, are a bit stiff and scratchy. I hope they'll get gentler with wear but meanwhile (on bad days) they give my son an opportunity to howl that he "can't" put them on.

Timberland Boys' Rock Skipper Black
Absolute rubbish, possibly not real Timberland, as quality normally associated with Timberland nowhere to be found. Fell apart after a few days wear.
