    Excellent5
My daughter chose this toy, although I'd read the negative reviews on this site. If things go wrong, I'd suggest it's because people haven't read the instructions carefully enough before starting. With the right amount of shaking and tapping to get rid of bubbles, we found the models came out perfectly with incredibly detailed features of dresses and faces. My five year old then managed to paint them herself (with some help at finishing touches) and she is immensely proud of her models. The only thing I would say is that the figures on the box don't necessarily match those in the box. We have one figure we don't recognise (although we've seen all the Disney films). Never mind, we just chose our own colours for this one.
Adult help definitely needed, but an excellent rainy-day activity for mums and disney-mad daughters.

    A very disappointed 5 year old.1
One to avoid. It is difficult and expensive to get good results - the powder forms clumps and does not mix well but sets very quickly. Since you get only 2 sachets included there is no opportunity for experimentation. Refills seem to be out of stock everywhere and at 1 pound per sachet (minimum!) it's an expensive learning curve. I have found far better results using plaster of paris. If you have shaker maker already... I got 2.5kg of plaster of paris (enough for at least 20 figurines) for just a few pounds.

    Complete disappointment1
This toy is not in any way as it is represented. The figurine comes out a pink glob that only vaguely resembles a princess. It never dried completely, and the dry spots were mottled and unpleasant. My four year old didn't even bother to paint it.
A total waste of time and money.
