Customer Reviews

Keeps the kids quiet while they learn!5
This kept my 4 year old quiet for the entire 2 ½ hour journey to my parents last weekend, an absolute feat on it's own. Then you can add to the fact that Tag is teaching her to read too and I'm absolutely thrilled with it. Now she's bugging me to buy her more of the books that go with it.

Tag Reading System5
I bought this for my friends 8 year old daughter, and she tells me that Tallulah really loves her Tag pen and will not put it down. She uses her books to tell the stories to her younger brother, who sits patiently waiting to use the pen himself. Her brother is 4 so is just at the right age to use the Tag reading system properly, so now he wants the Disney Pixar cars and King Fu panda books for christmas. It is one of the most usseful present I have bought a young child, and I am so glad they are getting educational learning as well as lots of enjoyment and fun with Tag

Pure quality. Educational for kids and great fun too.5
My little girl got this for a birthday present from her grandad. I had never heard of them and seemed somewhat perplexed by the concept. A pen that reads text to you is no mean feat. I challenge anybody who unpacks and starts one of these not to try it on their newspaper.

Of course it won't work on that. You need special books. Its very clever technology too. My girl adores it.

Best of all though, is the learning system you get if you install the software on your computer and register the product. You can see exactly how your kids have performed with the pen. Its all automatic. Why something like this can't be used in the national curriculum is beyond me. Imagine the reduction in workload for teachers if a lot of the donkeywork was automatic!

Um, anyway, even if installing the accompanying software etc is not normally your cup of tea, I recommend you do so, as once you have registered the tag, it downloads some updated software, presumably fixing some bugs. Also, if you buy another of the books to go with the tag, (and if you don't, why did you buy the thing in the first place) then you will need the computer link in order to download the voices etc for the new book.

You can have five books installed on the tag at any one time. This may not seem much, but transferring the book from the tag to your computer and back is really simple. The software is excellent.

Excellent. More stuff like this please.
