Bugged Don't buy!
Bought this for my 8 yr old daughter , She played for 4 hours then got stuck on part of the game.
Eventually found an add on slip in the instructions stated the only way to carry on was to buy more cartridges(spend more money and wait to be delivered no thanks) or reset the game tottally and start again from scratch(re-play the last 4 hours only to get stuck again no thanks)
This should have been sorted BEFORE they released the game.
I wouldn't bother buying , pay a bit more and get a nintendo DS which has similar games on it.
I will be sending mine back for a refund.

Great if you want to your child to experience needless frustrations of daily life, otherwise avoid this
My six-year-old got one for Christmas - must be one of the most stress-inducing toys ever devised. At times she was weeping with frustration as the bossy overseer with the monocle repeatedly frustrated her attempts to do simple things without first making her go through several other pointless steps beforehand, or telling her she was a bad and dirty pet owner, or needed to buy some extra cards, or some such.
Who needs parents to set up lifelong neuroses when you have this? Thankfully the My Life now sits gathering dust; my daughter's final response before abandoning it was "Please, PLEASE can we change this for a Mariposa Barbie?" I couldn't refuse her.

Review on My Life
My daughter wanted this desperately for her 8th birthday in January. I ordered it & it arrived & she was overjoyed but she played on it for a couple of hours on her birthday & the screen froze. We turned it off & on again & it still froze after a few hours. We sent it back to Amazon & they resent another one. This one we turned on & couldnt even get all the settings to work, the screen just froze & then went blank. So it was returned and I have a very upset 8 year old. Wouldnt recommend this toy at all.

This is the only item that I have been unhappy with & sent back in years of using Amazon.
