Manufacturer's Description
Tomy's Thomas & Friends Charge To The Rescue Centre is a high speed action set that that is great fun for all Thomas fans, bringing all the fun and excitement of Thomas's escapades to life with flashing lights and sounds effects.

Place Thomas on his ramp at the top of the helter skelter. Diesel and Percy are in the garage waiting for action and James is at the top of the lift. Press the button and the excitement really begins.

Flashing lights and sound effects help to build suspense, anticipation and excitement, Thomas's ramp slowly starts to tilt and as it reaches the point of no return Thomas sets off down the helter skelter; the garage doors start to rise and, when they are fully open, Diesel and Percy come racing out to the rescue. Meanwhile, the lift clatters down into action, bringing James to join in the fun.

As well as all of these electrical features, Charge To The Rescue also makes a great free play toy with lots of different features.

Customer Reviews

fun...once you get used to it5
We got this for two 2 year twins (boy and girl) this Xmas, who are both mad into Thomas. It comes almost fully assembled, with 4 small trains that have no easily breakable bits and look rather durable and the effort to finish it is small.
It is light, brightly coloured and easily set up - once you read the instructions. Thw twins were able to work it out very quickly and love seeing the trains go down their slides and the lights and noise. It also plays some Thomas music when switched on and they can spen half an hour doing just that!

The trains themselves are actually quite a bit of fun to play with on, e.g. the table.

All in all, a very nice (if expensive in Ireland) toy with lots of fun

good fun5
I bought this toy for my two and half year old boy and he absolutely loves it. Trains and all the noises keep him occupied for hours!

Still played with daily after a year and a half!5
We gave this to my 3 year old son for Xmas 2007 and he still plays with this every day (in addition to all of his other Thomas items), as does his 2 year old brother. It has been worth every penny in the countless hours of enjoyment, and although it's not a huge toy, it has definitely helped them learn to share and take turns.

I highly recommend this to anyone with siblings close in age, as it's a durable toy which can be handed-down.
