Average customer review:Product Description
Based on the classic and ever popular Rubix cube, this super cool version is so slick to turn you'll be completing it in next to no time. Or perhaps not. We've always found it tricky to get more than one side to match. Unless you peel the stickers off, of course, although that's definitely cheating. Rubix cubes have enjoyed a resurgence of late and, having seen people complete them blindfold, behind their backs and, bizarrely, underwater with no breathing gear and eyes clamped shut. Some people will do anything for a bit of attention.

Customer Reviews
An excellent alternative to the official cube
As far as low-friction Rubik's cube clones go, this one isn't bad at all. The movement of the rows is nice and smooth, as long as everything is lined up as closely as possible, and the fact that the coloured squares are moulded on instead of applied via stickers makes this toy both sweatproof and cheat-proof. Sometimes the cube feels as if it could fall apart at any second, but this may be a side-effect of the internal mechanism, as it's so far held itself together reliably. Whilst it doesn't come with any of the literature that the official cubes come with, such information is easily found on the internet. Essentially this is a reasonable cube, both for the beginner and for the avid Rubik fan.
Rubicks Speed Cube
Cube turned up nice and fast, was impressed with how efficent shipping was. Cube has nice lighter colours including the nice addition of a pink front instead of the standard red. Movement is tough, yet the sides are very durable. Overall a nice addition for anu cube collectors, YET not one for speed solves, the stifness of the cube makes fast movements very tough. P.s my "new" cube turned up with most of the faces scratched almost as it had been previously used.
An Absolute Farce...
I had been looking for a "Professional Speed Cube" to bring my solving time to under a minute. This is DEFINITELY NOT it. The very first impression out of the box is that of a poor imitation, fairground consolation prize; and as for the low friction, the cheap plastic audibly tears against itself while you twist and turn with heightened vigour. If you're like me and you want to increase your solving speed, I would advise you to steer clear of this imposter and just grease up the mechanism inside your original cube. They do say you only get what you pay for. I have to say I was suspicious of this item from the start. Now I think £2.99 is steep. Avoid this item at all costs.
