Poor battery connection
We decided to buy the more expensive model, as it had a larger screen and better memory. However, we tried the first camera and couldn't get it working. We changed the batteries a few times and triple checked they were in the right way. Eventually it worked, but unfortunately it wouldn't switch back on later that day. We ordered a replacement and again it wouldn't switch on, it was very frustrating. Eventually after trying for a long time my husband put some silver foil in the bottom of each battery slot to improve the connection, and hey presto it worked. Very disappointed that for £75 we have had to do this and will probably return it for a refund on monday.

VTech Kidizoom Pro
I bought this for my seven year old sons birthday. He has so much fun with it. It is so easy to use and has some fantastic functions especially the special effects you can do with photos he takes. Connects very easily to the TV so you can share any photos or videos taken.The photo and video quality is quite good for a child's camera.My 10 and 14 yr old have also had fun using it. The casing is very durable and good grips for a young child.As yet to download music to the mp3 player. Would certainly recommend for any child.
