Excellent. A real page turner. You will never look at mushrooms the same again.

I couldn't put this book down. Very clever concept, and well written and researched.

Excellent book, but it's difficult to pigeon-hole the genre. I think it's best described as Horror/ Fantasy/ Magic/ Thriller/ Sci-Fi/ etc.

I read this book a few weeks ago, and thought it would make a great film. Then I found out it had already been done! If I read a book, I rarely watch the film/DVD. I'll make an exception with this one

Book 2 in "The Sisters Grimm" series. In this book you start to notice more of hatred that the Everafters have for the normal mortals. It's anything but a happy little fairy tale!

These stories were written for his own children, and published in 1888. I especially liked The Selfish Giant. The descriptions are so vivid, who needs illustrations!

A genuine 5 out of 5 book. I've read several Julia Donaldson Picture books and they have all been wonderful. My gran read this book too, and loved it (and she's 82)

This is another well written book by Louis Sachar. Excellent.

I'd forgotten all about this book. I have never read it, until now. It was first published in 1977. Although it's a picture book, I'd not recommend it for pre-schoolers. It's a true classic!
