This Max Value High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) cable is the modern replacement for older analog standards and older digital standards such as DVI. The cable is 2 Metre’s and has two 19 pin connectors.

HDMI supports standard, enhanced or high-definition video plus standard to multi-channel surround-sound audio.

HDMI benefits include uncpmpressed digital video, a bandwidth of up to 5 gigabytes per second, one connector instead of several cables/connectors and communication between the video source and the DTV. It transmits all ATSC HDTV standards and supports 8-channel digital audio with bandwidth to spare to accommodate future enchancements and requirements.

    Great cable at tiny price5
    The key thing here is that this interface is a digital interface; you don't need the ultimate in cable quality to get the ultimate in displayed quality. A bit of wet string could almost do the task (assuming it had 19 strands and the correct plugs on the end... ;)
    So this wonderfully long cable allows digital input to get up to the wall-mounted screen, and keep all the quality of HD. But without the boxes (HD source, Xbox, PS3, etc) being on display. Even makes up-scaled DVDs look good!

    So, great cable, at a wonderful cost.

    Got this cable and it works fine. I'm using it to connect a pc to my HD lcd tv. I'm using a Gainward graphics card with nVidia 9600GT - the card has HDMI and DVI outputs. I'm running Windows Vista and the 37" display looks great. The cable is doing a good job with no hassle.

    I recently bought my first HDTV and was a bit baffled when it came to buying an HDMI cable, as they range in price so much. However after doing some research I found that it is actually true that an HDMI cable is an HDMI cable, regardless of price (unless they're really long, which this isn't). I decided to give it a go and bought two of these cables. No problem with them whatsoever, picture and sound are great, which confirms what I expected - ridiculously expensive cables are a big con!!
