Great value iPhone case!
I purchased this case after originally buying a silicone cover for my iPhone 3G. Unfortunately, the silicone cover offered no impact protection for the iPhone screen, and I wanted to find a case that would do so without being too bulky.

There are some much more expensive cases listed, but this one easily meets all expectations. It is cleverly designed so that all buttons are accessible, and it can be charged/synchronised without removal from the case. Although not easily seen in the online images, there is an aperture in the case for the camera, too (you might need to move the iPhone a little to make sure that the case doesn't mask the lens, but this is easily done). The proximity sensor also has an aperture to ensure that when the iPhone is brought to your ear you have no problems with the screen being activated. The flap covering the screen is sturdy, but the case overall is light and well-made, so it remains a neat size that can be easily slipped into a pocket.

Overall, this is a fine product, and half the price of the silicone case I bought that provides nowhere near the same protection or functionality. Highly recommended.

The Ideal Solution
There's a bewildering choice of cases for iPhone out there; this coupled with the threat of being deceived by poor quality, badly fitting cases makes choosing the right one quite a hassle. If it's a leather case you're after, I'd recommend you look no further!

Whilst it was initially a minor struggle to get the phone into the case, a little perseverance and flexing of the leather will lead to a snug and secure fit. There appears to be a rigid card insert between the layers of leather - manipulating and bending this to the curvature of the phone eases the fit. The camera aligns well with the opening in the case, headphones can connect both when the case is open and closed, and the 'popper' fastening can be used without threat of applying undue pressure to the phone itself thanks to the rigidity of the case. Sound from the phone's speakers is unimpeded thanks to openings in the bottom of the case, which sit beside an opening for easy connection of the sync/charge cable. Surprisingly too, the belt clip is of some quality and attaches to the case by sliding over a 'button' fitting on the back.

Even when trying to be critical, I can see no real issues with this case. Time will tell on the quality of the leather as it faces up to everyday use, but I can't forsee too much difficulty.
