Cheap - and it shows
If this wasn't the cheapest manuscript pad here I'd have given it a lower score. The paper isn't great quality it's a bit too absorbent. Probably OK for ball pen or pencil but using a liquid ink pen it's not really practical to use both sides of the paper and there's a ragged outline to the notes.
The inside front cover has a guide to music notation. The pages are not perforated so they are less likely to tear off accidentally. The spiral that binds it is solid plastic so there's no danger of it rusting and discolouring the paper but maybe more risk of it breaking if treated badly. At this price I feel a bit churlish to complain about the quality of the paper but next time I'd go for a slightly more expensive one.
Poor for Chorales
Sturdy book of manuscript with ring bindind. The ring binding has it's disadvantages for instance if you want to remove pages for a portfolio. The main issue I have with this manuscript is that the staves are too close together. For instance if your writting out chorales in short score the tenor and alto parts are too close together and interfere with each other and the score looks messy.
