Yamaha BMX01 Keyboard Stand
I am using the Yamaha EZ-200 model keyboard and find this stand very agreeable and sufficient for the task at hand.
The stand can be adjusted to many different heights using the "X-Style" lock in the middle of the frame and is therefore very mobile and portable. It is also fairly light and easy to carry.
This stand does not feature any screws or other methods of attaching your keyboard firmly. The keyboard rests on the top with the aid of four rubber contacts; two of which can be adjusted back and forth to allow for smaller or larger keyboards. These contacts provide enough friction to prevent the keyboard from slipping.
Overall I have found the stand very easy to use and secure enough for my own purposes. If you run a busy household and often have visitors then it is possible that it could be knocked off by children or animals. I would therefore recommend that you consider purchasing a compatible stand which features screws (e.g. the L-2C) which can attach your keyboard to the stand.
If you don't forsee the problem above then this "X-Type" keyboard stand is certainly a worthy and affordable purchase.
Wobbly
I agree with the reviewer above. The stand does not fit the keyboard well, it is insecure, and if you have children in the house, the likelihood of it being leant on and broken is high.
Compatability
Do NOT buy this stand with the Yamaha PRS EZ150 keyboard. It is totally unsuitable as the keyboard only sits on top and is completely unsecure. The housings on the underside do not align with the stand. The stand also protrudes both front & rear. Very poor value for money and dangerous to use.
