avoid like the plague!
Setting this up was [and still is] a huge pain. After 6 months, I haven't still figured out how to adjust the height!
The bolts fall out regularly, and the stool is not as portable as I originally thought it was.

Save yourself the stress and buy a practical X-legged stool.

Not well made; not easily adjustable, regret buying it
I couldn't work out how to set this up initially - my husband figured it out and as it doesn't even come with instructions I'm amazed he did. The seat jiggles down awkwardly when you take both bolts out (still not sure how to do this) and to raise it up again, you have to tip it upside down - it's not light - and waggle and jiggle the base until both sides click into place. Surely someone could design something better. It is cheap but not cheap enough to warrant the awkwardness involved in using it. Once set up at one height it is quite comfy. Another thing - the height intervals are quite far apart and I find it's either too high or too low... not recommended.

faulty stool, still waiting for refund after 3 months!
The product was faulty as one of the bolts arrived broken. Spoke to customer services and returned the package promptly. But I haven't received a refund nor has anyone anwered my queries... still waiting and will never buy from this seller again.
