Customer Reviews

Good basic buy and much better than the AS version4
I didn't originally order this A2 psychology text because I was very disappointed with Gross and Rolls' new AS version, which I thought was by far the poorest of all the new AS AQA A books available and have barely used. However, this was the only one available on Amazon at the time, and as a teacher I was getting desperate and more than a little annoyed at the lack of A2 books available for the new AQA A specification. However, I was very surprised to receive an easy to read, likeable and non-garish textbook pitched at about the right level for most students. It even has stretch and challenge sections for those most able. However, the options section only covers six choices and does not include perception or intelligence, which is why I have not given the book five stars. It is, however, a great improvement upon the AS text, so if like me, you have been avoiding buying this in the hope that the other publishers will finally get their acts together, give it a go - it's a good basic text.

Absolutely - I concur!!4
I too am a secondary psychology teacher, and concur exactly with all that Janey says!! My very thoughts: Great minds....?
