Product Description

This title is the product of years of research into the componants that make for consistent, accurate shotgun marksmanship. The key to the method is the development of a simple, flexible and effective routine that allows the shooter to apply the same sequence of thoughts and actions to every shot. Covers all aspects of Positive shooting4
A complete and comprehensive book that covers all aspects of shotgun marksmanship. Written in a style that is helpful to both the novice and the experienced shot. The chapters on gun fit and gun choice are of great help to the novice setting out to buy his first gun. There are many books on clay pigeon shooting but Michael Yardleys takes Shooting instruction to a new level, His chapter on "The psychology of shooting" is one of the most helpful for a newcomer to clay pigeon shooting, whilst "Training Aids and Fault Diagnosis" helps you to move forward with confidence. Many instructors teach one method of shooting and pay little attention to other methods but Mr Yardley cover all techniques even specialised ones such as American Maintained Lead. Micheal Yardley has produced a book that many will say is the definitive manual on shooting techniques. The book is a must have for all aspiring clay pigeon shots of whatever interest, be it Skeet, DTL, Sporting, etc. To the newcomer and expert alike a much needed aid.

good read5
excellent book, with lots of good advice, also met the man and had a lesson with him, this guy knows his stuff. Has to be one of the top instructors out there.

Positive Shooting misses target.2
I don't know to whom this was aimed.
It seemed to meander through some very basic issues and then ramble towards various disciplines, without very much in depth descriptions, no summary of the rules and not much in the way of instuction of what to do do to hit various types of target.
All in all, a bit of a 'mish mash' and not of much help to me as a middle of the road shooter wishing to improve my scores.
Sorry, but that's how I viewed it!
