Impressed with the new Amazon service
This review is more about the Amazon download service rather than the Abba album.

The album is good and, if you like Abba, you'll like this - enough said.

Now the real point of the review.... This is the first time that I have tied the Amazon download service and it couldn't have been simpler or better. Basically, the first time you try to download an album, you'll need to first download a small program/plug-in. This manages the download process for you.

I decided to just save as MP3 rather than get the program to load the album straight into iTunes, this was so that I had more flexibility about the devices that I could listen to the music on (especially as the is no DRM problem, unlike iTunes). The download was at high quality and was saved to its own folder in the folder of my Vista system. From here it was then simple to import into iTunes. Even the album artwork seemed to come across (although this might have just been iTunes being smart).

On that basis, I'll be using the Amazon download service in future, particularly as it seems to be cheaper than iTunes and more flexible.

ABBA Album
A truly great Abba Gold selection - if you like this era of music this is a great download of Abba - all their greatest hits and popular songs. I've since bought the follow-on Album which is equally enjoyable. Amazon do great downloads and also you can buy the CD if you prefer.
