A Fantastic Journey through Literature
This is a story about a boy who loves reading, especially about his favourite character, a super-hero detective. When he falls asleep, he also 'falls' into the book he was reading. A chase through different books then follows as the boy tries to help his hero solve the mystery he's working on. The variation of moods offered by the different books is fantastic. The bit through the young sister's picture book was particularly hilarious, and the chess sequence was nice (although strangely familiar). I would love to see this on stage!
