Is Nimrod the mighty Hunter here?3
I think that this is the original RAF Collection that features all the famous planes from Spitfire and Lancaster to Tornado and Phantom. There is no Nimrod of Biblical hunting fame, or Beaufighter. However the Hurricane and even an early Heyford bomber feature.
The planes are very basic in appearance, especially the white ones! Oh yes, there is a row of white paint jobs for the Vulcan, Valiant and Victor and the experimental TSR2 and others. I tried out the TSR2 for attack at low level and it was just about okay. Try throwing this around the sky and you can see it couldn't handle close air combat. This proves those moaners wrong about it being replaced by the Tornado! Anyway, the cockpit is clearly wrong, at least far too simple. The other panels are basic in the extreme, but the Hunter version fits for an early Hunter, though the Spitfire, Hurricane and Hornet (yes, there is an RAF dH Hornet there!) have only a bad panel between the 3 of them.
The best thing about this set is the red Arrow Hawk with other Hawks displayed in the panel at the press of 2 keys. There is also some (once again) basic scenery that covers all of England and Wales, with 4 WW2 airfields. All the planes have auithentic sounds, thgough the Phantom and Tornado are terribly badly rendered with bad panels.

This is the best add-on pack i have come across yet for flight simulator. Containing some of the best, and well known aircraft in the world, this is a must have for flight sim, and RAF fans alike. The models are superb, but some are lacking in the finer details. But this does in no way spoil the elegance of the beautiful aircraft that are superbly recreated. So whether you fancy your self as a flying ace, or you have wanted to experience the thrill of flying some of the most modern aircraft in the world, this has got to be the title for you.
