Authoritative and Well Researched5
Anyone with an interest in the Battle of Britain, should not miss this outstanding story of the developer of the Spitfire, R.J. Mitchell. With excellent narration, we are introduced to Mr. Mitchell's son, and rare footage of the senior Mitchell, some of his workmen, and others who were involved. From start to finish, including details of Mitchell's life, we are given a glimpse of his genius at airplane development and design, which would result in the plane that was so decisive in the Battle of Britain. The film ends with a fly over past Buckingham Palace, with several other vintage and modern-day aircraft. Not be missed...this DVD is worth it.
