OS Maps - Why buy?
I always buy an OS map of the area we visit if I can. They may be slightly more expensive than any alternatives but you get what you pay for. The level of detail is unsurpassable and the information provided always useful (especially on the coast where high tides are clearly marked). The only thing to get lost now is my time spent pouring over them. I wouldn't want to take a hike without one!
