It's a timer.
I must admit to buying this item on a whim as I have a number of timers anyway and didn't really need another one or did I?

I soon found it to be of advantage to such an extent that I use it all the time now. For example, it's a nice size and easy to both set and read and also has a pretty loud alarm which can be heard a good distance away - in my case from the Garden.

I'd heartily recommend this little gadget, especially if your eyesight is poor or your a bit hard of hearing.

A real gem
This is an excellent timer, Salter have obviously put a lot of work into it as it's a big improvement over the original which I've had for probably 10 years.

I particularly like the Quick Silent Countup; the Responsive Buttons; the Display that changes from H:MM to M:SS at one minute to go; the Alarm which is not too loud or annoying and lastly the Pulsing ":" to show it's counting.

Excellent Timer
I bought this to replace my old timer which was too quiet, hard to read & very, very, fiddly & complicated

this one is so simple to use, that like another reviewer I read the instructions once then binned them

it's a good size, has an easy to read display, is very solid & has a nice loud ring I can still hear if I wander off to the other side of the house, and the easy to find/buy battery is a big plus in my book (no more searching for obscure button cells)

it does what it says on the tin & very well too ... recommended
