Great for the reduced price (£17.50)
Great watch. Very smart looking and excellent value for money. Obviously it is a lot easier with such metal bracelets to get the strap size adjusted by "an expert" than try to do it yourself. You can get this done on the High Street for a small(ish) cost (probably about £5), though the manufacturer also offers this service. I think the cost was £5 if you wanted the return postage insured...

If anyone has trouble getting the watch over their wrist, it's probably because they haven't undone both sides of the clasp.

great for gorillas
good looking watch, but what a size - it weighs over a quarter pound, nearly three times the weight of the one I'm replacing. if you need to bulk up your left arm to hide that give-away over-exercised right wrist, this is the one; if you don't want to be constantly aware of your watch, forget it.

Handsome large face, real bargain.
It cost me £2.54 (signed-for postage) to get the strap length fixed by Accurist. The service is very quick and the measuring band supplied makes the job simple and reliable. Reading other reviews suggests some may not realise the strap has TWO folding clasps which, when both undone, makes it easy to get over the hand. It is a heavy watch but a great combination of style and simplicity. It is very accurate.
I am very pleased with the watch, especially as I got it at the recent rock-bottom price. Even at the new price it is still a bargain. The instruction leaflet is a general one which does not apply specifically to this model, but dealing with Accurist is easy, particularly the strap adjustment facility. If you can do without the watch for three days or so, why not?
