Great case
This is my first laptop case, and Ive been looking around for a few weeks to find a good one. looked at other Leather Targus cases in shops but never fancied due to lack of space. What a difference this one is. Whether as a laptop case for work or leisure this is great. It has loads of pockets and storage space for power cables, papers, pens, discs, you name it. Rather than having the power cables seperate by a flimsy bit of padding they have their own mesh pocket inside. One of the features I love with the design is the laptop is not on one specific side of the case like in many others. With the metro case it sits neatly in the center with padding either side, plus pcokets either side aswell so its not so easy to damage your laptop.

At this price, you won't find better
Firstly, just a small point, but this bag is actually a City Gear model, not a Metro Messenger as the Amazon product title states, but the picture shows the bag you'll get, so no worries there. On the subject of looks, this bag sits comfortably bewteen business and leisure style and could be easily carried to the office on those dress down Fridays without looking out of place. The black and silver colour scheme does just enough to make it stand out from the drab all black cases that everyone seems to have, without being too over the top (like some of the hideous Crumpler bags).

Storage wise, this bag has more pockets and compartments than you can shake a stick at (a number of them are removable too) plus some internal pockets have strong velcro fasteners for added security. The middle section is very well padded and will keep your laptop nice and snug. To the rear there is another section for documents, which has very useful stiffened dividers in to keep everything rigid - a nice touch.

Clearly a lot of thought has gone into designing this bag, to maximise space whilst retaining functionality - your £30 buys you a great piece of kit, which far exceeds some of the more expensive bags out there.

I've had one of these for 4 years now...
I bought one of these laptop bags about 4 years ago and I'm still using it every day. Its tough, flexible and very heard wearing. I like the fact that the laptop section is in the middle because it really protects the laptop well. So far this bag has seen me through 3 different laptops (varying in size from 13" to 17") and it has served them all well. Have 2 other laptop bags which I've tried for 'fashionable' reasons (its a long story....), but I always come back to this one because of its flexibilty and robustness. Can't recommend it enough.
