Having performed this Kata for what seems a 1000 times at last an interpretation I can understand. I think the important point about Abernethy's work is to develop your own interpretation of the Kata. Incorporate YOUR physical side and mental attitude rather than your instructors. It is time to move away from the psychological contortions of the Sensai/Pupil relationship and develop equal respect for each other. On a less heavy side the DVD is well produced and good to look at it. Enjoy the freedom of developing your own style within the Kata.
