Servo single handed shear
This is an excellent product,and the fact that it rotates makes it so handy for me as I have a difficult lawn shape, and arthritic hands!!!!!!!!!!!! Highly recommend

A very useful tool, but . . .
These very well made hand shears carry all the quality expectations of the Wilkinson Sword brand and are very well made as you would expect.
They are light in use and the 360 degree rotating head makes tackling a task from any angle a doddle as there is a position to suit any task.
How I think the shears still disappoint though, is the fact that the degree of compression between the cutting blades is so light that when you get right down to the tougher base of a tuft of grass the blades can part so that no cutting takes place. Another gripe is that is is possible to lock the blades in use as the locking button is very close to your hand grasp and when you are really getting stuck in to some serious lawn edging it happens all too easily.
It should be said though that he above issues have applied to every pair of hand edgers I have owned.
Changing the operation of the locking button to one that works by depression or rocking, rather than sliding might do the trick (Mr Designer, please take note!).
All in all these are not bad value for money. They are relatively easy to use and hopefully will stand the test of time.
Just the job for tricky edges!
Bought to replace an old pair of single handed shears. Very adaptable with the 360 degree swivel facility. Lightweight and easy to use. A definite boon for close cropping grass round obstacles.
