A Life-Changing Experience
I read Susan Jeffers' book of the same title many years ago when I was very shy and it changed my life. There is something very liberating about the concept of Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway. Susan Jeffers has a deep understanding, which she communicates with great clarity and wisdom, of the dual between our 'little chatterbox' (negative thoughts) and our higher self, positive thoughts that programme us for success.
I bought the CD set quite nostalgically, when I recently had a particularly difficult situation to face. Susan's voice is very soothing - lovely to listen to in the car or at bedtime. Listening to this so many years after reading her book and having come so far in my own life and self-development, really brought home to me that no matter how confident I have become, there is always room for more growth which often involves some discomfort. In fact, as Susan says, if you always feel comfortable then you are probably not growing, for it is when we step outside our comfort zone that we grow most.
Susan Jeffers will help you to tap into your higher self and to the universal energy; showing and reminding you how to stay positively aligned, so that you can master your fears and grow to attain any level of success anyway!
Audio version should be avoided
If you are a woman this might be of some benefit as a lot of the case studies are about women getting over "Mr Right". Most of the other stuff is pretty generic and can be found in just about any self-help book. Susan Jeffers reads this material like she's reading from an auto cue and the delivey is flat and uninspiring. If there was something new in there I might have listened through it, but you get 8 CD's which sounds like a good deal, but I gave up after the first 6.
Buy the written version instead. I don't have it but I assume it looks a lot better in print than it sounds on audio.
