Essential - buy it for your key people.5
It's not often that I read non-fiction and cannot put it down. I found it useful and informative, as it gave an excellent grounding into various types of network marketing programmes, including remuneration schemes and the advantages and disadvantages of each. When evaluating which opportunity to take, this kind of information is vital.

In addition, Yarnell wrote about his own experiences in Network Marketing, and the common misconceptions that he fell prey to at the start of his career. I must say that reading those, e.g. the pitfalls of sponsoring familiy and building their business for them, were a real eye-opener.

There were common themes in Yarnell's book and the key messages that the leaders in my own Network Marketing company give us, such as how to approach the warm market, how to deal with dream stealers, etc. The book is great in that it provides an excellent reference for all of these nuggets of wisdom that you can go back to time and time again.

Whilst is it quite American - I don't think that Network Marketing is as widespread in the UK as it is over there - I think that anyone serious about having a rewarding career in Network Marketing should not only buy this book, but invest in a few copies for the future leaders in their teams. In the absence of a good sponsor (fortunately I have a brillant sponsor and upline!) this book could make the difference between success and failure.

The only weakness would be that there is not sufficient guidelines in how to evaluate a UK Network Marketing business. I suppose this book was directed at US markets, but I suggest that it is read alongside the "Residual Dream" by Richard Wall, which is available for free on www.residual-dream.com
