Excellent album, buy buy buy!
Bands of today tend to get lost in a sea of recycled guitar riffs, skinny jeans, indie pretentiousness and cliched songwriting. But Kill Casino defy this in every possible way. Karen Luan opposes the likes of the novelty frontwoman and joins the ranks of Brody Dalle and Courtney Love with her unique vocals and genuine musical talent.
Overall a solid album, no weak tracks. They mantain their distinctive sound throughout the entire album without surrendering to monotony... nicely paced with each track sliding smoothly into the other. Stolen Eyes, Best Served Cold and Underwater are probably the best tracks, while Pirate Waltz and Pool are my personal favourites.. short but punchy. I highly reccomend this album to any punk rock fans out there. I really look forward to hearing their new material.
