Iceland is a country of contrast and diversity – from the dramatic landscapes of the remote northeast to the lively nightlife of Reykjavik, the country has something to appeal to any visitor. The Rough Guide map is designed to help get the most from a trip to the country, whether visiting the remote geysers by car, exploring the Vatnajokull glacier on ski-do or birdwatching in the West Fjords. There are footpaths and contour lines for those on foot and details of petrol stations and road surfaces for those travelling by the road. As with all the maps in the Rough Guides series, this map is made of rip-proof, waterproof Polyart™ paper, durable enough to survive a trip spent in the car seat-back or rucksack or even an accidental dip in a thermal spring.

Disappointing Map
Whilst this map is a good map for travelling around Iceland I was very disappointed that it doesn't cover any of the towns/city in detail. Would be much better if it had a detailed map of Rejkavik as I would think most people who hire cars pick them up from here or the airport. Now I need to buy another map that does cover Rejkavik.
Rough Guide Maps-Iceland
Bought this map of Iceland for a forthcoming trip. Very good showing everything very clearly. Being rainproof is certainly a big plus as we are expecting some rainy days.
Useful map, good price.
Good map, printed on plastic paper. Good for route planning, but you will need a larger scale one when you are there.
