Wish LanternsTM are the highest quality mini hot air balloons that are currently available in the UK. When inflated they stand 108cm tall and 66cm wide at its widest point, and are therefore perfect for individuals to set off alone or en masse at parties and weddings.
After release the Wish Lantern will burn for approximately twelve minutes, and then self-extinguish and float gently to the ground. Made of 100% biodegradable material they will bio-degrade in two to three days. Wish Lanterns are completely environmentally friendly and safe to use.
The Wish Lantern is based around the design of the first hot air balloon - The Kongming Lantern which is said to have been invented by the sage and military strategist Zhuge Liang. Chinese lanterns are claimed to date as far back as the 3rd century AD as a type of signalling balloon. Similar products are also known as sky Lanterns or Khoom Fay.
Simply light the fuel cell at the bottom of the lantern and watch as it gracefully floats up into the sky. Each Wish LanternTM comes individually wrapped with a set of safety instructions enclosed and a sleeve of silica gel in each sleeve. Wish LanternsTM are the must-have party item fireworks will never be the same again.

Customer Reviews
Wish Lanterns at a Wedding
We purchased these for a wedding having used them over Christmas. At the wedding we had gone to over Christmas each couple had been given a Wish Lantern and asked to write a wish for the couple - and then attach it to the lantern.
At the end of the night everyone gathered outside and then were let off simultaneously into the night sky. It was a great alternative to fireworks we are usually used to at weddings we go to.
