BRILLIANT TRANSLATION!
Personally I have 3 different translations of the Tao Teh Ching, yet this has got to be the ultimate translation! There are quiet a few things that I do not agree with and are not what a Sage would really seem like. For example, a lot of translations say, ‘the sage only looks to fill his belly with food.’ Chen Man Ching clearly shows this is a miss translation and should be ‘ fills the abdomen with chi.’ This makes so much more sense.
Do not fob yourself off with other translations by other professors. For after looking into this guy Chen Man Ching, I found he was not only a Professor but also lived what he taught, not a lot of people do that. He seems to have been more than a professor but also a Master.
IN SHORT! If you want a good translation of the Tao Teh Ching, this is it!
