Tai Chi player
I have several CDs by OS and this, after a few listens to start with, has become my clear favourite from his excellent Tai Chi/Qigong music catalogue. This is China with more than a Tibetan influence containing both soulful and spiritually uplifting music. There is some excellent East and West traditional instrumentation - no prominent synthesized sound here - with occasional singing/chant singing. If I have a criticism it is simply that one later track is a bit too wordy for me. Nevertheless, for the Tai Chi practitioner I challenge you not to find tracks suitable for form work. If you have been to China, even Tibet, this will invoke strong memories. If not, enjoy yet another gift from the East.
