Synopsis
Qigong is an exercise practice that works to channel energy through movement and breath, increasing strength and agility while improving the immune system. The lesson aims to help practitioners achieve a more focused energy, putting the fundamentals of Qigong to use in promoting wellness, joy, and a heightened awareness in everyday life. The insrtuctors use a fun, accessible, and light-hearted approach that focuses on the breath, synchronous movements, visualisations, and mantras to enhance Qi flow.

Corny and Phony!
This may look ok to American eyes, but to English eyes it will just appear corny and phony. It is amazing how many of these so-called Masters have had miraculous recoveries from near-fatal car accidents.
Garri Garripoli is no exception.
He was apparently is such a bad car accident that he was in a cast from the neck down and doctors told him that he would be in a wheel chair for the rest of his life.
But.......lo and behold........he used the exercises on this DVD and before you know it........he was literally climbing up the side of a mountain, helping the camera crew with their equipment for this DVD.
To American ears this may sound 'impressive', but to English ears it will just sound ridiculous.
We in England are simply not attuned to this kind of salesmanship, and it just sounds silly, ridiculous, corny and phony.
Even in the most unlikely circumstance that it is true, it is far better for the Master to keep these 'miracles' to himself, rather than burden his students with the scepticism that this is bound to conjure.
One thing that astute Amazon viewers may ask is:- "If he was in a cast from the neck down and going to be in a wheel chair for the rest of his life, how did he manage to stand up and move his arms and legs to do the exercises that were so beneficial to his miraculous recovery?" Alas, there is no answer to this question in the DVD. Perhaps it will be answered in subsequent DVD's?
This impression of 'cornyness & phonyness' is made worse by the fact that the 'master' is siting there giving an interview with black paint sprayed over his head in an attempt to hide his bald patch. Difficult to take anyone seriously when they try that!
This is an important study and a fascinating art. I therefore suggest that if anyone thinks this DVD may be in any way of use to them to buy it. The upside is that it may help you and your health; the downside is that you put it down to 'experience' as I have.
There are other far better DVD's on this subject, although of course, it is a very personal matter as to which of them is 'best'........or more accurately........most suitable for each individual taste.
My own preferences are for Master Lam Kam Chuen and Master Faye Li-Yip. True genuine Masters in the literal meaning of the word (neither of whom have had miraculous recoveries from near-fatal car crashes, as far as I know!)
So that is my review. Definitely NOT for me.......but it may be for you!
Excellent DVD
I really liked this DVD. It's easy to follow, well presented and, as it suggests, is good for all ages. I particularly liked the way it explained what each movement actually does for you. If you are new to Qi Gong, then this is good a place to start.
Excellent dvd
An excellent dvd covering all aspects of Qi healing, all beautifully shot and narrated.
With the addition of an exercise routine to keep you healthy and supple whatever your age.
