It sounds great and makes you feel good
This varied collection of songs from Cape Verdean musicians is one of my all time favourites. It goes wonderfully with the setting sun on a warm summer evening, but can give you that same feeling when the sky is grey and the rain is falling. Enjoy with ice and a slice of lemon!
Aural pleasure
This has to be one of the best sounds for balmy summer evenings - effortless music and a totally uplifting sound. Glorious for winding down and chilling out.

My favourite album of World Music of 2001. Combining sounds from Brazil, Portugal, the Carribean and India all in a lush lyrical, pure, jazzy mix. Really grows on you after a few times listening. Uplifting, vibrant, sometimes beachside music with a soul and atmosphere that smells home made and tells of personal involvement in its creation.
