sublime word craft
I think this is a brilliant collection, but it is too short. The poems are multilayered and it is a joy to read until the last page - just when you are beginning to really get into it. The last poem "Rendezvous with Death" is my personal favourite.
"I wish I was the kind who could look death in its many eyes and bid it come... I wish I could face violent death unfazed; look upon its red and black attire and charge straight on to the gleaming sword it points at me..."
A defiant debut. I recommend it highly.
