	Bryn Terfel - Don Giovanni - Mozart [DVD] [2000] [NTSC] Buy new: £9.98 / Used from: £16.70 Visually stunning, with beautiful sets and costumes. Nice singing, nice acting, just a shame that they chose Bryn Terfel to play the Don.
	Mozart: Don Giovanni -- Zurich/Harnoncourt [DVD] [2002] Buy used from: £13.44 This is a really, really bad production. BUT...it has Rodney Gilfry as Don Giovanni, and he is terrific in the role as well as being oh so sexy.
	Eugene Perry - Don Giovanni - Mozart [DVD] [1990] Buy used from: £36.47 Ignore the controversy - this takes a while to get used to, but once you get your head round it it's brilliant. However, it's definitely not for everyone - Peter Sellers sets it in 1980's Harlem.
	Mozart: Don Giovanni -- Glyndebourne [DVD] [1995] Buy new: £14.98 / Used from: £8.70 So many people seem to hate this, but I love it. Buy it if you don't mind rubbish sets as long as the cast is superb.
	Mozart: Don Giovanni [DVD] [2002] Buy new: £25.98 / Used from: £58.00 I love this, but beware: it is only for the open minded. I can see how it might offend those who prefer traditional opera. However, I prefer traditional opera but I still really enjoyed this.
	Giulio Cesare - Handel (Glyndebourne Festival) [DVD] [2006] Buy new: £34.98 / Used from: £87.00 Oooh, it's a goodun. An all singing, all dancing spectacular. Plus, the yummy Christopher Maltman as Achilla.
	Mozart: Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) -- Paris/Gardiner [DVD] [1993] [NTSC] Buy new: £19.59 / Used from: £10.15 The best DVD of the very best opera ever written. The cast are great, the sets are lovely, the music divine. Alison Hagley is the best Susanna ever.
	Le Nozze Di Figaro - Mozart [DVD] [1990] Buy new: £24.49 / Used from: £10.90 Peter Sellers again, this time the action taking place in a New York Penthouse. Not as good as his Don Giovanni, but enjoyable nonetheless.
	Mozart: Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) -- Zurich/Harnoncourt [DVD] [2002] Buy used from: £26.82 Perhaps... no, actually, just don't buy this. It's terrible. Not even Rodney Gilfry's count can save this for me.
	Bizet: Carmen [DVD] [2003] by Glyndebourne Chorus Buy new: £25.98 / Used from: £26.82 This is superb. Anne Sofie von Otter just becomes Carmen so utterly - it's one of the best performances of a role I've seen.
	Verdi: Rigoletto [DVD] [2002] Buy new: £24.49 / Used from: £21.99 A stunning production, with wonderful singing. Strictly for adults though - it brings all of the opera's dark and violent themes screaming to the surface.
	Verdi: La Traviata -- Royal Opera House [DVD] [1994] [NTSC] Buy new: £11.88 / Used from: £5.95 Is it just me, or is Gheorghiu over-rated? In fact, this whole performance to me seems over-rated. I mean, it's all very good, it's just I found myself not caring about the characters or the situation
	La Boheme - Pal [DVD] [1993] Buy new: £17.98 This is so great. I cried and cried so much at the end. Everything was just spot on.
	Mozart: Le Nozze di Figaro (The Marriage of Figaro) -- Glyndebourne [DVD] [1994] Buy new: £13.98 / Used from: £120.00 I have an off-TV tape of this production before they revamped it. It was beautiful. But this DVD was made after the revamp of the production, and they ruined it. The sets are awful, truly truly awful.
	Mozart: Cosi Fan Tutte [DVD] [2006] Buy new: £24.88 / Used from: £22.77 The costumes are great and the cast are truly exceptional. Miah Persson is absolutely stunning as Fiordiligi- a heart-breakingly beautiful voice combined with acting talent and incredible good looks.
	Mozart - The Magic Flute [DVD] [1983] Buy new: £15.98 / Used from: £45.00 Very old fashioned, but this version contains the very best Papageno ever. If you don't shed tears of happiness during the 'Papageno/Papagena' scene in this version you have a heart of stone.
