If I can do it - so can you5
"If I can do it - so can you." Those are Fred's words and his example is an inspiration to those of us who cannot skip up the Lakeland fells like a mountain goat or like some other more athletic television presenters. On occasion Fred really suffers but he doesn't let the challenge defeat him. In the end his successes are all the more rewarding because of that, both for him and us. This is a very human exploration of the Lakes as Fred stands in for the average person who might feel daunted by climbing those impossible-looking mountains. And if after all that you still don't fancy following in Fred's footsteps, well then just enjoy it from your armchair.
