Customer Reviews

a must have for embroiderers5
this book is a must have for any embroiderer especially any doing city and guilds. It is informative, instructions are clear and most of all its exciting. the project section just adds the icing on the cake as it gives you things to do with the lovely surfaces you will have stitched.

Excellent source of inspiration4
The book is a beautiful collection of ideas and methods, with good quality photographs to show you how to achieve the end results or your own variations. As well as ordinary techniques,
Gwen's keynote is how to turn junk into beauty - many of the ideas involve "found" objects and waste, and items we wouldn't normally consider using. My only quibble is that the format of the book sometimes seems to override the content, so that every idea is presented in the same way; however, there is such a wealth of invention & variety here, you can't really complain.

a fantastic book5
A beautifully laid out book, informative and easy to read, a must for the adventurous embroiderer.
