About the Author
Janet Edmonds studied stitched textiles at East Berkshire College, near Windsor and went on to gain a BA in Art and Design at the University of Hertfordshire. She now teaches embroidery at East Berkshire College and the world-renowned Missenden Abbey, and she travels regularly on behalf of the Embroiderer's Guild. She regularly runs courses with Gwen Hedley, author of the bestselling Surfaces for Stitch (0713489073), also published by Batsford. Janet lives in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.
