The dance music starts as soon as you begin the installation process. It's relatively quick and within minutes you can begin to realise your own creative music dreams. There's a tutorial and a handbook to help you if you get stuck. More than a thousand original dance and house 140 BPM samples were recorded and edited by professional musicians to help create this recording studio. If you have your own samples that are not 140 BPM, don't worry because the built-in technology will automatically detect the BPM and change it to the required 140 BPM. The drum "groove generator" comes with more than 500 additional drum sounds to give your tunes an individual dance floor feeling. You can add your own raps and vocals, and jazz them up with a whole range of distortion effects including robot ones. But before you can record with this eJay software you need a microphone attached to your soundcard. This software is also very flexible. Not only can you use samples from previous eJay kits, you can also import any standard wave file simply by dragging the imported sample into one of the 12 sound-group buttons. The instructions are laid out in a clear and simple way and there is back-up support on the software publisher's Web site. Kids can create the ultimate disco dancing tunes with this computer version of a 16-track sequencer. They simply drag musical components like guitar sounds, vocals, sound effects and drumbeats onto a grid and press play. A Groove Generator lets children create their own drum beats, although each of these sounded about the same to us, and features like pitch and volume can be easily adjusted. Over 1,000 sound samples are available for mixing, and these can be edited or used as is. The program's straightforward and simple design makes it appropriate for a preteen or teenage disco fan, but keep in mind that this is a one trick pony- disco music mixing is all you get.

Dance e-Jay 2
Hey, if your anything like me and have loads of toons in your head and nobody out there seems to be on the same wavelength as u, go for Dance e-Jay 2 it's brilliant. Sooo easy to make your own mixes and if you have a burner you can put them on CD and 'party on down'. I started with Dance e-Jay 1 (got a demo from a mag. and I was hooked! ) I can't play any instrument or read music but with this software you can 'do your own thing'. Also there are some great e-Jay web. sites out there, you can submit your mixes for review and be scored (my highest score has been 89...still striving for 100! ) The folks who run these sites are so helpful and u can download other e-Jayers mixes and have a listen or pull them to bits and add your own style to the mixes.Gogive it a go !

Dance eJay 2
This is old software now. If you're into the old house and techno tunes back in the late 90s and early 2000s (!), then you'll love this. A great range of samples, but for me, they just don't cut it nowadays. But that is all down to taste. I prefer trance rather than techno. Like all of the eJay series, it is so easy to use. Now it is cheap, I would recommend it, but listen to a few sample MP3s first, because if you are like me, you won't like the selection of samples this product has. Still, very nice and how I got to like eJay very much.
