FANTASTIC EASY TO FOLLOW BOOK5
This book has to be the best sewing book I've found, I was after a something that would help me through some of my more challenging projects. This book has everything you need whether you're new to sewing or experienced, from all the basics, to more advance in tailoring, soft furnishings etc.

Straight forward explanations and clear diagram's make this this book easy to follow.

In my opinion, a copy should be in every sewers kit !

not as good as it could be3
This was certainly useful as I knew nothing about sewing but I found the emphasis quite skewed. This lady has a wierd taste for craft things, and gives a lot more attention (and illustration) to stuff like making a greeting card covered in buttons than useful things like taking up a hem and or taking in a waist band. Also references that refer to chapters rather than page numbers make it a bit tedious. It's not bad, but I'm sure there's something better out there.

Not the best3
I purchased this dummies book along with other sewing books.
Overall I was not hugely impressed when comparing it to the others.
I would advise anyone looking for a sewing book to add 'The Complete Book of Sewing (Needlecraft)by Alison Smith'
to their collection, even if you do go ahead and buy this dummies book.
