Editorial Reviews

Amazon.co.uk Review
It may not have quite the sex appeal of some other launch titles, but in the US and Japan -- where the PSP has already been out for some time -- Everybody’s Golf is easily the most popular PSP game so far. It may look simplistic, even childish, put this is as serious a golfing simulation as you could ever want.

Golf has never been a difficult sport to turn into a video game, in terms of getting a little computer person to hit a ball across the screen. The trick has been in making it as accurate and as fun as possible -- attracting both serious golfers and those just looking for a bit of pixelated fun. The Everybody’s Golf series has always excelled at this, and this new PSP version is no exception.

The game has six new courses and a mountain of customisable features which allow you to create your very own golfer. This is important because one of the game’s key draws is the multi-play mode, which allows other players to join in the same tournament even if only one person actually owns the game.

It's the game’s perfectly designed controls which impress the most, with the simple three button power shots allowing anyone to hit the ball, while pros can practise adding top spin, back spin, fades and hooks to subtly alter their stroke. It's almost painfully addictive once you get started and good enough to attract even committed golf haters to the fold. -- Harrison Dent

Essential for PSP...5
"Good Shot"
Got my PSP in Giga pack form with WRC. I've always been a driving game fan and was looking forward to WRC, but was unimpressed with the game and so with the PSP.
"Possible Eagle"
Then, three months ago I bought Everybody's Golf and it has not left the PSP since. It is the most addictive game I've played on any console. I love the 'cartoony' graphics, but better still is that the gameplay and physics are no nonsense, and not cartoony at all. Now I love my PSP and have not touched the Xbox since.
"Go for a Birdie"
My only niggle is that you can't play two player mode turn-by-turn. No matter, just means I have to buy my wife a PSP and a copy of the game.
"Nice Par"
In conclusion, Fab. Honest to god, if you have a PSP, you have to own this game.

Beautiful5
I simply cannot get this disc out of my PSP. Each time I go to play Ridge Racer or Virtua Tennis, I have to just have one more game which then turns into five more games. My other games have now gone on strike, and won't talk to me anymore.

Ho-hum, I'll just have to win another tournament and beat a grumpy computer player in VS mode.

Love it

One of the best PSP games yet?5
This game is very fun to play! It also needs enough skill to keep it interesting. The main play mode will keep you going for hours without getting bored. If you're in a hurry it's easy to set up a quick game. What I liked about this game most is that once I completed it I felt that there was no need to put it down. The 'mini games' keep this game enjoyable after completion.

Great graphics despite it's cartoon-like looks.

This game is great but there is one let down. I felt the 2-player mode wasn't very good. There is no online gaming for it and no 'take-it-in-turn' game play modes.

All-in-all a must have for PSP.
