Football first, with real ale close behind.
I have enjoyed reading these guides, and it is obvious that Stedders is a true football fan, who wants to share his love for real ale with other fans of the great game. Not only does he describe the ales he has come across, he has set out to find pubs which are "football friendly" pubs with that special and welcoming atmosphere.
The Guides are well written, and provide photos of the pubs, together with a simplified map. A useful book to keep in the glovebox, ready for any away game.
