The best nursery rhyme CD that I know of
I am Japanese and currently live in UK. I have purchased several nursery rhyme CDs for my 3-year-old daughter, hoping that she could learn nursery rhymes to sing at her nursery school. This CD is the best that I know of.

In some CDs, the accompaniment is so loud that she can�ft catch the words properly. In other CDs, little children sing in chorus (sometimes out of tune), which again prevents her to catch the words properly. In this CD produced by BBC, however, all 30 nursery rhymes are sung by two adult singers (Bronwyn Baud and Nigel Williams) to minimum accompaniment. The singers sing lively and cheerfully in correct tune and with clear British accent, which is very helpful for children (especially for foreign child like my daughter) to learn nursery rhymes. My daughter really enjoys listening to this CD.

Good for the kids and easy for an adult to hear
The CD caught the attention of my 2 year old instantly. The CD does not have the more popular songs like the Wheels on the bus CD but none the less it caught her attention and she will probably pick up the ones she does not know now. The singers sing in a manner that is not annoying to an adult and I was able to have the CD playing almost completely in the car without getting totally fed up with it...infact I quite enjoyed it initially.

the songs are okay but the arrangements could be a bit more modern and interesting
