When packed away, the total space taken by a Jigsafe is only 38cms (15 inches) x 28cms (11 inches) x 5.5cms (2 inches) and yet it can contain 1,000 pieces all the right way up. When the lid is taken off and the boxes unpacked (de-nested) all of the pieces are easily visible.

Pieces can be sorted by shape or colour into each of the seven boxes to help with organization.

Sections of puzzle can be made in any of the boxes and then easily transported to the main board by use of the take-out cardboard sheet in the bottom of each box. Made-up sections can be slipped off onto the main board without the need to take pieces apart.

Excellent idea BUT
This is a well made product and an excellent idea, however, the boxes are too closely put together so making them extremely difficult to separate when empty. No chance when full of puzzle pieces. Still find overall this is a good product and worth the investment.

Alternate the boxes
The trick with the Jigsafe is to nest the boxes alternately - ie put no. 1 inside 3 inside 5 inside 7 and 2 inside 4 inside 6 - and then one pile sits on top of the other and it still has the same overall, small footprint. It's then wonderful for sorting your pieces to your heart's content, if you are a sorting-your-jigsaw-pieces-type-of-person!

Super solution for jigsaw puzzlers
Have had this product for well over a year now and wouldn't be without it, I don't find seperating the individual boxes a problem whether empty of full of pieces. I always put different shaped pieces in seperate boxes & find this makes doing a jigsaw puzzle so much easier. Would highly recommend this product.
