OK, but only for a certain kind of tourist
We bought the Wallpaper guide to Madrid, as we delight in the built environment.

In the first two minutes of trying to use the guide, we realised this is not a guide for folks like us (who want to know the nearest bus stop or metro station, and walking directions from there) - it's for those who will take a taxi _everywhere_.

There are not even grid references to tell you what part of Madrid you might find these sights.

We used this book when we had a short break in madrid it was fantastic to use as it highlights the best places to stay,eat,drink,visit for a design conscious traveller, which meant we got the most from our time there.
