Excellent book
The first time I saw Mark working with horses, I knew immediately that was the way I wanted to work with my horses too. I have watched him work quite a bit over the years, and learnt so much from him.
This book really captures what he is all about. Great stories, told really well, but most of all, a great reminder to me, of what 'good horsemanship' is all about.

brilliant book
I love all Mark Rashid's books and this is the best one yet. Written in his usual highly readable style, it's packed with insights about horse behaviour. You won't find any 'how to' exercises here but you will find the inspiration to help you build a stronger relationship between yourself and your horse.

Brilliant!
Again another really good book from Mark Rashid - his style of writing and the way he uses anecdotes and his own stories to get across the message he is trying to pass on makes his books a pleasure to read and suddenly at the end you realise how much information and knowledge about horses you just taken in. If you want to learn how to communicate with your horse and how to listen to them to communicate back, then you definitely need to read this book - no gadgets or gizmos, just good common sense and understanding.
