Magic, fighting, more magic
The original concept of a boy magician in a girls school was reasonably interesting, since it involved trying to keep his abilities hidden. But since the series seems to have changed course to involve endless magic battles it is becomming rather repetative and frankly boring. I get the feeling the series is been strung out just to keep people buying it. I hope it ends soon. A couple of more volumes of the same again and I will just give up on it.

Black Magic
This twenty-third volume of the `Negima!' manga sees Negi begin training to use Evangeline's Magia Erebea. While he is doing this we catch up with the other members of Ala Alba as they begin to meet up and make their way to the rendezvous in Ostia.

This is another great volume of `Negima!' which has some good battles and remains quite funny in places, especially the scenes when we catch up with those characters left on Earth. My favourite part of this volume has to be the Yue's story as she deals with her amnesia and shows just how much she has grown. On a different note, it sucks to be a dragon in this volume. `Negima!' easily remains my all time favourite manga series as it is incredibly funny, well written and well drawn.

Can't wait for the next volume
Another excellent volume by Ken Akamatsu. This volume focuses on negi's training and how the other groups of students are coping in the magical world. Akamatsu seems to have a talent for drawing battle scenes with lovely magical effects and details. The next volume appears to be where all the scattered groups will meet up once more and will hopefully reveal or begin to reveal more about Asuna and Fate Avverencus.
